Deposit

Context:

  • Each token has a min/max deposit amount

  • Verified users can deposit assets and mint new tokens

  • Nectar Yield Tokens are minted and start accruing yield as soon as a deposit is made

  • The number of yield tokens minted for a given deposit is a function of the latest exchange rate or "price"

  • Deposits are routed to the Asset Manager who runs the trading strategy

User Steps:

  1. Connect your wallet and select a whitelisted address

  2. Select an amount to deposit. The corresponding amount of yield tokens will be shown.

  3. Select Deposit

  4. Transaction 1: Approve the Nectar contract to spend/transfer the deposit asset

  5. Transaction 2: Confirm the transfer of funds from your address to the Nectar contract

  6. Once completed, the corresponding Nectar yield tokens will appear in your wallet

Deposit Assets At the moment, Nectar just supports deposits in a given yield tokens base asset. Users will be able to zap in additional deposit assets in the near future.
